The Honors Program and President’s
Leadership Class (PLC) scholarships are the two most prestigious scholarships
that we have to offer. When accepted into either of these programs, your
students would be given the opportunity to excel in the classroom, campus, and
surrounding community. In addition, the financial awards are substantial.
To qualify for the Honors Program,
your students would need an ACT score of 26 and a GPA of 3.5. This scholarship
awards full tuition, fees, books, on-campus housing, and $750 in Scholar
Dollars per semester for up to four years (minus other federal, state, and/or
private scholarships or grants).
To qualify for the PLC
scholarship, students need an ACT score of 21. This program awards full
tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and $750 in Scholar Dollars per semester for
up to four years (minus other federal, state, and/or private scholarships or
grants).
Honors and PLC applications (as
well as all required supplementary documents) are due by February 1, 2013.
Additionally, there is an interview requirement for both scholarship
programs. Qualified applicants will be notified of the time and date of
interviews soon after February 1.
In addition, be sure to have your
students apply for our general academic scholarships by March 1, 2013.
